In PAS, students faced a scarcity of choosing class of limited time. They don’t have time to take all the classes. Some students choose to take MUN because they are interested in MUN debates. Some students choose to take Java Programming because they are interested in computer science. However, those two classes are in the same period. In four years of high schools, students are impossible to take all the classes PAS offer. On the other hand, teachers faced scarcity when they choose courses they would teach. For example, Mr Dahl is good at English. He could teach a bunch of courses like British Literature or English I. However, due to time constraint, he could only teach several courses. No juniors are taking Mr. Dahl’s class because of that. It would be impossible if the English department only has Mr. Dahl to teach over a hundred students in PAS. Teachers give up chances to teach other grades’ people to have comfortable time of teaching.
My life in PAS faced with a scarcity of lunch choices. Despite the fact that the lunch was not delicious, I always wanted one more piece of chicken nuggets when the meal men only give me one or two pieces of chicken nuggets. That is simply too sad to have only few chicken nuggets when eating the lunch. The limited amount of chicken nuggets in the meal box stopped me from getting more chicken nuggets. There is scarcity of chicken nuggets in PAS’ lunch. Sometimes, as a senior, I have to give up my basketball time in order to have more time to study on SAT and other things about college. That is the most terrible tradeoff I faced in PAS. Furthermore, I have give up the chance of going to a cleaner toilet because I am really in a hurry.
